Guangdong LNG (GDLNG)

Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture energy company, established in February 2004. It is the construction and operation entity of Guangdong LNG Terminal and project. The shareholders of GDLNG consists of 11 Chinese and foreign partners. CNOOC is the largest shareholder and BP is the foreign shareholder. Others consist of well known companies such as Shenzhen Gas Co., Hong Kong and China Gas…etc. Its business includes purchase (import), transportation storage and re-gasification of LNG; sales (transmission) of natural gas and its by-products to Pearl River Delta and other areas; construction and management of LNG reception terminal, gas pipeline and other additional extended facilities; charter, lease and operation of LNG vessels; LNG purchase, sale and relevant business inside or outside the country.

CNOOC Fujian LNG Co., LTD.

CNOOC Fujian Natural Gas Co., Ltd was registered on Oct.10th, 2003. CNOOC Gas & Power Group and FIDC (Fujian Investment & Development Co., Ltd) jointly owned the company, respectively holding 60 percent equity and 40 percent equity. The company’s main business covers import, receive, transport and selling of LNG and other relevant equipments import and maintenance. Fujian LNG Overall Project is composed of terminal and trunkline project, three gas-fired power plant projects and 5 city distribution projects. Terminal and trunkline project is the second such project for CNOOC and it includes unloading facilities, gas pipeline linking terminal to power plants and to city offtake station. The terminal site is located at Xiuyu, Putian, to the north of Mei Zhou Bay. The designed capacity of the first phase is 2.6 mtpa, with 2 LNG tanks each with a capacity of 160,000 cubic meters.

Shanghai LNG Co., LTD.

Established in 2008 as a joint venture of CNOOC and Shenergy, Shanghai LNG Terminal and Underwater Gas Transmission Project is composed of LNG berth, terminal and underwater gas pipeline project with a capacity of receiving six million tons of LNG per annum. The terminal will be built in phases with a total capacity of 6mtpa. The first phase will be 3 mtpa, and it includes a berth that can accommodate 165000 cubic meters LNG tanker, two LNG tanks with storage capacity of 160000 cubic meters each, underwater gas pipeline and other related facilities. Shanghai LNG overall project also includes gas-fired power plants and local distribution project. The terminal site is located on Zhongximentang Island of Shanghai International Shipping Center.
