Corporate Structure

As of 1st August 2013, shareholders are China LNG Shipping (Holdings) Limited (CLNG) and CETS Investment Management (HK) Co., Limited (CETS) with, respectively, 60% and 40% interests. CLNG, a Hong Kong registered company, is a 50:50 joint venture between COSCO and China Merchants Group. CETS is a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). As majority shareholder, CLNG nominates two Directors, with CETS nominating the third.

Mr. Xin Tian holds a Master’s degree from Antai College of Economics and Management, and graduated from Dalian Maritime University in 2011 with dual bachelor’s degrees in management and law. His previous roles include working as a Chartering Executive in the Ocean Division I of COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd., serving as the Supervisor of the Secretary Office in the Administrative Affairs Department/Board Affairs Department of China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, acting as the Manager of the Dispatch Office in the VLCC Department and the Manager of the New Business Research Office in the New Business Development Department of COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. He is the DGM of China LNG Shipping (Holdings) Limited.

Mr. Zhou Yuliang was born in March 1984. He graduated from Wuhan University in 2006 majoring in English and Law. He is the manager of CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Oil Production Services Co. -CTLNG company.

Capt. Shu Binglin studied for four years at Dalian Maritime University after which he spent 16 years at sea, working on various types of vessels, including VLCCs. This time included 4 years command experience as Master and extensive experience of working in multi-cultural environment. At the beginning of 2005, Capt. Shu was seconded to CLNG and spent 5 months in BP Shipping’s London office gaining LNG vessel management and operations experience. As a key member of the preparatory team of CLSICO, he participated in all its set up activities and was appointed as the Deputy General Manager in 2007. After 10 years working as the Deputy General Manager, was appointed as the General Manager from 1st November 2017. Capt. Shu was promoted as Deputy General Manager of CLNG from 24th November 2021, and acts as the Chairman of the Company from 30th September 2022.
