After having been informed 3 days after boarding the ship in Withnell Bay that one Master had been on the same flight as a passenger who later tested positive for COVID-19 and under low risk level, for the purpose to prevent and control strictly against infection to others, he was immediately isolated in the ship’s hospital for the remaining period as per CLSICO requirement.
AB very kindly volunteered to assist with the Master’s meals and other assistance during his isolation period.
All of CLSICO’s COVID-19 prevention procedures were strictly implemented and followed by everyone onboard including having all crew tested for COVID-19 during out discharge at Dapeng.
All tests produced negative results and at the end of his isolation period, the Master returned to the normality of shipboard life and CLSICO continued with handover process.
