CLSICO and Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Limited signed a contract on 8th February for the 2nd intermediate survey drydocking of the Min Lu, to be conducted during late March and April this year. This will be the first time that a Chinese shipyard has performed a full refit an LNG ship. It is an important milestone for Yiu Lian and the latest step in CLSICO’s mission of supporting the development of LNG shipping capabilities in China. The contract signing was the culmination of detailed studies and preparations that began in 2015. CLSICO General Manager Paul Oliver praised the strong commitment of Yiu Lian management and looked forward to a successful refit.
