On 07th September 2020, CLSICO signed a DS and DM Drydocking contract with Yiulian dockyard.
Under the agreement, CLSICO managed vessel Dapeng Sun will enter Yiulian dockyard from 16th November to 9th December 2020. Meanwhile, Dapeng Moon will enter Yiulian dockyard from 31st December 2020 to 23rd Jan 2021. There has been inaugural ship repair for Guangdong LNG project, namely its first and second DAPENG Class LNG carrier which was a breakthrough for YL shipyards in this regard.
It is first “online signing” contract in the history of CLSICO vessels’ Drydocking contract signing. Under the special period of epidemic prevention, signing agreements online instead of “face-to-face” interaction in order to limit unnecessary human contact, the cloud signing has brought a new model for future service agreement signing method.
General Manager of Yiulian Dockyards (SheKou) Co.Ltd Mr. WangYangZhi and General Manager of CLSICO Captain Shu Binglin signed the contract on behalf of both parties. CLSICO Deputy General Manager Mr. Andrew Johnston, Assistant General Manager Mr. Zhao Hongxing and CLNG representative Mr. Zeng Shouhua, witnessed the signing ceremony.
All parties announced their best wishes and committed to enhance strategic cooperation of future repair Projects within the CLSICO fleet.
