31st May, CLSICO invited Capt Mogul of LOC and conducted a whole day SIRE Vetting Workshop in CLSICO office.
The purpose of the workshop was to ensure that key members of the office team were fully aware of why vetting inspections take place, what is the responsibility of office and ship staff during vetting and also what are the following actions and measures should be taken after inspection. At the same time, make sure everyone who involved in SIRE inspection can fully understand the requirement under VIQ 7 and brief information on the vetting inspection process onboard and ashore.
As a vetting inspector himself, Capt Mogul was able to share valuable insights based on his experience and these were beneficial to all who attended.
