October saw a series of milestones for days free of Lost Time Injuries. First was the Dapeng Sun which achieved 500 days LTI free on 9th October, followed by Dapeng Star which passed 2500 days LTI free on 14th October. Dapeng Star has had no LTIs since the ship was delivered in December 2009. Finally Shen Hai, also with a clean sheet since delivery in September 2012, passed 1500 days LTI free on 29th October. General Manager Paul Oliver visited each ship to present mementos of these achievements and to thank the ships’ staff personally for their diligence and dedication to achieving a safe workplace. He visited the Dapeng Sun and Dapeng Star at GDLNG’s Dapeng terminal on 26th October and 11th November respectively and the Shen Hai at Malaysia’s LNG’s terminal at Bintulu on 9th December.
