Last 10th August 2016, Shen Zhen Dayawan MSA and CLSICO organized a joint LNG Shipping Safety and Management Seminar at Man Wan Hotel to share and promote safety in the LNG shipping business, especially in the Shen Zhen area. GDLNG, CLNG and CNOOC are invited to participate in this seminar.
Mr. Li Wenfeng, MSA Dayawan Deputy Director, kicked off the Seminar with Mr. Xu Jianping, the Deputy General Manager of CLNG introducing the development progress of the company and thanking all involved parties, particularly MSA – being the safety administrator, had done a lot for the safety of LNG industry to ensure the safe transportation of LNG in Chinese water. There were good sharing from speakers of GDLNG, CNOOC Energy Technology & Service and China Dayawan PSC inspector. Capt. Shu and Mr. Zhao from CLSICO also took the chance to share CLSICO’s safety management system and the high safety standards applied onboard our LNG ships.
The Seminar ended on a good note and all participants were encouraged to maintain safety in the LNG Shipping business as Shen Zhen was expected to bear a handling capacity of 20 million MT of LNG cargoes per year, which would be close to 900 LNG shipments per year in the near future.
