On 29th October 2018, the award ceremony of AMVER (Automatic Vessel Rescue System) was held at the Hong Kong Ship Owners Association. Mr. Chee Yen kit, CLSICO senior superintendent, attended the 2017 AMVER Awards Ceremony on behalf of company.
The AMVER is headed by the US Coast Guard, it is a global merchant-board mutual assistance system, and founded in 1958. The system is a computer-based information system that provides assistance for searching and rescuing operations in worldwide waters.
The US Coast Guard once again awarded CLSICO a certificate of honor this year to express the high recognition and praise to all six LNG vessels of CLSICO about participating in and supporting the AMVER program.
