CLSICO will:

- Minimise risks to the health and safety of our employees, contractors and the general public through evaluating risks and establishing safeguards in relation to all hazardous activities.
- Provide excellent ship management services by meeting and exceeding our customers’ requirements and protecting their interests.
- Act as a responsible corporate citizen by protecting the marine and wider environment, including by taking all reasonable measures to minimise carbon footprint and other air pollutants.
- Provide a secure working environment by protecting people, assets and our operations against risk of injury, loss or damage from criminal or hostile acts.
- Strive to achieve zero harm to people, environment and property.
- Provide a place of work free from abuse of alcohol and the use of illicit drugs.
- Establish clear HSSQE objectives and performance measures and identify roles and responsibilities that lead to continuous improvement in HSQE performance.
- Keep our documented Integrated Management System under review to ensure it is current and relevant, incorporating the lessons learned from incidents.
- Maintain emergency response preparedness including: identification of potential emergency situations; maintenance of contingency plans to respond to them; and regular exercises to practice the implementation of those plans.
- Provide our employees with the training necessary to support them in implementing this Charter.
- Influence our contractors and other business partners to share our commitment to sound HSSQE performance.

- To intervene and stop unsafe acts.
- To report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
- To participate actively in the development of our Integrated Management System and to strive for continual improvement in our HSSE performance.
- To be familiar with their roles and responsibilities in relation to emergency response.
