On 4th January 2015, the Dapeng Sun passed 1000 days free of Lost Time Injuries (LTIs). To mark this achievement, Paul Oliver, CLSICO’s General Manager, visited the Dapeng Sun at Dapeng Terminal on 6th February to thank everybody on board and to award Captain Malcolm Lakey, on behalf of all staff who have served on Dapeng Sun during this period, with a memento of the occasion. He commented that the Dapeng Sun had in fact had no recordable injuries at all during the past 1000 days – an even more impressive record. Furthermore, the Dapeng Sun had had close to zero unavailable hours during 2014. Well done everybody!

Footnote: following normal industry practice, CLSCIO counts as a recordable injury a Medical Treatment Case or worse. First Aid Cases are reported but are not recorded for performance monitoring purposes.
