Andrew Johnston
General Manager
Andrew Johnston started his career at Harland and Wolff shipbuilders as a Mechanical Engineer apprentice. His sea going career commenced as an Engineer Cadet with Shell Tankers UK Ltd studying at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies. He joined his first LNG vessel in 1985 and reached the rank of Chief Engineer within the Shell fleet, sailing primarily on LNG vessels. During his time with Shell, he was seconded to Petronas over a period of six years, initially sailing on LNG carrier ‘Puteri Intan’ on her maiden voyage.  In 2008 Andrew joined STASCo London as Engineer Superintendent managing LNG steam turbine vessels for both Shell Trading and Nigeria LNG. He subsequently moved to VShips Cyprus as Fleet Superintendent managing LPG and Product vessels. In 2012 he returned to sea as Chief Engineer with Anglo Eastern Ship Management. In 2013 he joined BP Shipping as a Vetting and Clearance Superintendent, then transferring to BP Shipping Operations as Engineer Superintendent (LNG) managing BP’s four Duel Fuel Diesel Electric LNG carriers.  He was appointed Deputy General Manager/ Fleet Manager at CLSICO from 12th February 2018. After working as Deputy General Manager/ Fleet Manager he was appointed CLSICO General Manager on 18th December 2021.
ZHAO Hongxing
DGM / Fleet Manager
Mr. Zhao Hongxing was graduated from Wuhan University of Technology with bachelor degree of marine engineering. Since 1993, he worked on various types of vessels for 12 years, including VLCCs, rising to the rank of CE in 2003 before he became seconded to CLNG in 2005 and worked in CLNG site team in Hudong Shipyard. After delivery of the first Chinese LNG vessel Dapeng Sun in 2008, he joined CLSICO as first ship superintendent and worked in different positions since then. He was appointed as Deputy Fleet Manager in Oct 2013, as Technical Manager in Aug 2015 and then as Assistant General Manager & Technical Manager in Feb 2017. He was promoted as Deputy General Manager & Fleet Manager on 18th Dec 2021.
John G. WOOD
Assistant General Manager/Head of Manning & Marine
John brings a wealth of knowledge of manning and marine operations having worked for two of the largest ship management companies in the world. Beginning his sea service in 1981, he sailed as navigating officer on various types of tankers including product, chemical, VLCC and VLGCs. John has in depth experience working with British, North European, East European, Indian, Chinese and Filipino seafarers as well as having very strong contacts with the ITF and national seafarer's unions. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science from South Tyneside College in the UK. John joined CLSICO in March 2014, and was promoted to Assistant General Manager/Head of Manning & Marine in May 2023. This will see John take on a more strategic role as CLSICO prepares for the next stage of our development with new building 174,000 cubic meter LNG carriers for Qatar Energy coming into management.
