On September 26, Capt. Shu Binglin, General Manager of CLSICO presented on the first CHINA-ASEAN “LNG Ship Safety Management Capacity Building and Cooperation” Training Program through online resource. Capt. Shu presented CLSICO’s development history and corporate culture, LNG carrier maintenance system, emergence response of LNG carrier, and exchanged opinions with the attendees on LNG ship management.
The training program is held under the framework of CHINA-ASEAN Cooperation Mechanism, hosted by China MSA and organized by Shenzhen MSA. Nearly 50 maritime officials from ASEAN countries and 30 maritime officials from Maritime Safety Administration throughout the country participated this training program. The purpose of the training course is to improve the maritime supervision capacity of LNG vessels and strengthen maritime cooperation between China and ten ASEAN countries. Considering the impact of the epidemic, the training was conducted in the form of “online + offline” from September 23 to 29.
