10th Sep, Dapeng Star has successfully completed her deviation to Subic Bay, Philippines in order to sign off 5 Filipino crew. This was the first batch of our Filipino crew being allowed to sign off at Subic Bay after completing their contracts, following the local Authorities designated Subic as a hub for international crew change.
This provision at Subic Bay for international crew change has also significantly reduce the time for our crew to off sign safely, compared to the previous operations in Manila Bay where high Vessel traffics were observed. The ship Master also gave the thumbs up for the whole operations, which runs smoothly and was completed within 3 hours.
All officers onboard and off-signers wore proper protective gear such as face masks, gloves and goggles to maintain good safety measures. This favorable news was also published in a local newsletter “Business Mirror” and later appeared in the evening TV News of Manila.
