On 31st October 2018, according to the proposal of Shenzhen Emergency Management Office, CLSICO vessel “Dapeng Sun” immediately participated in the 2018 Shenzhen LNG Ships Comprehensive Emergency Drill after completing the unloading at the Guangdong Dapeng LNG terminal.
The aim of the drill is to check the ability of ship-shore to deal with emergencies at the LNG terminal, to identify the problems in time and to find scientific and effective ways to solve these problems. At the same time, it also can strengthen the synergy between ship-shore and the third parties in dealing with emergencies.
The exercise included Emergency Fire Fighting, Ship-Shore Emergency Rescue, Ship Emergency Towing and so on. The drill successfully achieved the set goals of the exercise with the excellent capabilities and teamwork spirit of ship staff of “Dapeng Sun”.
