Last 30 June 2016 to further enhance relations, Paul Oliver, GM of CLSICO and Shu Binglin, DGM of CLSICO paid a visit to Shenzhen Dayawan MSA.
Mr Hong Huiyong, Deputy Director of Shenzhen Dayawan MSA and Mr Wang Weihua, Director of the Ship Supervision Department made us very welcome.
Mr Hong expressed that Dayawan MSA, as the local safety authority, monitors the safety and operations of our three LNG vessels. Through PSC inspections and other channels, they know more about how we manage and operate these ships. In general, they are satisfied with the safety and operation of the three ships, though they hope that their findings provide ideas for further improvements.
Paul noted that it is important for CLSICO to understand how third parties see our ships and CLSICO therefore welcomes Port State Control inspections of our ships. We all have the same interest – to make our ships as safe as possible.
Views were also exchanged between both parties on how to further enhance communications and strengthen our relationship.
Finally, CLSICO presented a silk banner to Dayawan MSA to express our sincere appreciation for their support.
