CLSICO’s is a long term business, tightly integrated into the projects that we serve. Each ship is managed on behalf of its owner under a 25 year ship management agreement. The ships themselves are time chartered for 25 years to the terminal companies, which are responsible for transportation under their 25 year FOB contracts with the LNG suppliers in Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
As ship managers, we are responsible for every aspect of the technical management of the LNG ships under our care. In addition, to ensure smooth operations and effective commercial management, we work closely with ship owners and charterers, as well as maintaining a liaison with terminal operators in the load ports. CLSICO recognises, in relation to its owners and charterers, that “we are all in the same boat”.
